Juniper Springs Paddle and Camping, Saturday February 16 through Monday February 18, 2013
Join us for a paddle of the gorgeous Juniper Creek in the Ocala National Forest. Juniper Creek is a Florida spring fed run that runs from Juniper Springs. The clear blue water of the spring water is engaging and entrancing. The constant temperature of 68 degrees allows folks to swim year round. Juniper Springs is a second order magnitude spring that flows into massive Lake George in the Ocala National Forest.
We plan on paddling on Sunday morning, February 17, yet this area is very popular, so we may schedule another run of the creek Saturday afternoon, February 16.
Some participants will be camping at Juniper Springs National Recreational Area. If you wish to join us for camping, please make your reservations soon. This area is very popular and the campground will fill up quickly.
