Adult Econlockhachee River Paddle, Saturday July 21, 2012

The  Econlockhachee River is one of Florida’s finest blackwater rivers. Resting in the Little Big Econlockhachee State Forest, the river is teaming with wildlife and consistently shaded by tree cover. The river is a draw back to an earlier days of Florida Wilderness.

What to bring: Sunscreen, Sun Hat, Water Bottle, Lunch and snacks

Costs: $10 for rental of UPKEEP Kayak,  Sierra Club donation is $5 per member, $10 for non-members, or $15 per family. You must RSVP, and send in your fees to attend. $10 per Kayak is non-refundable. Send check to Andy Quinn, 215 E.Bay St., Ste 1, Lakeland, Fl 33801.

Where: For Polk residents, feel free to meet us at The Wendy’s, Davenport, Florida, 630AM. For the rest of you can meet us at the put in near Trail Parking, Willingham Road, Seminole, Florida
