There are so many great things about a planting outings. The fellowship is great and we all like to give back. Recent surveys point to people enjoying service outings. We are truly blessed by the Nature Discovery Center, a credit to Polk County, Southwest Florida Water Management District and all of those conservation organizations including Sierra Club who have contributed to the Ranch.

One of the beat things is us new comers to conservation can learn from folks who have been around like Frances Marian and John!

One of the best things is that new comers to conservation can learn from folks who have been around like Frances, Marian and John!

We have great side conversation on a myriad of topics like conservation issues such as the petition drive to acquire land and water for conservation purposes, the Florida Land and Water Legacy Campaign. We will often have expert birders like Tom and Paul, and native plant experts like Marian. It is fascinating to listen to John talk about conservation issues!

We feel great by giving back and having a stress free way to get to know each other. We will have a light lunch after wards, and a fun and light conversation abut the wonderful of trees plants and animals that we live in!
